Proper track pump with chamber for tubeless

Was managing fine for tubeless with my budget track pump but was struggling with my most recent inflation and wouldn't go up at all (despite this tyre and wheel working previously?!). Got annoyed and treated myself to my first ever proper track pump

Intention is that it'll be my main/go to b/p bike and I need to put some serious miles in on it this year.

Assembled and the bits and pieces I've had kicking about for a while in anticipation fitted, not had the chance to take it for a spin yet though....

Hopefully get some proper photos tomorrow in the daylight.

Full face Fox Carbon Pro helmet... which is apparently too big for me. Who knew that I had a small head? :(

Annoyingly the small size isn't in the sale so it's going to cost me £80 more.

got a frame bag ... put lots of tools and things in it now so its full ... now my bike weighs allot more but atleast my camel back is light !

Another swift delivery from decathlon:

A light running hooded...um...hoodie, now the only fleece type mid layer i own after donating my poorly fitting fleece jackets i never wore. Should be good for running, hiking, biking and still look reasonably casual.

Some trail running gaiters for keeping crap out my shoes, certainly a world away from my massive waterproof rambling ones.

And some trail running shorts with more pockets than you can shake a stick at. 6 pockets around the waist and very stable, should hold most of my "Diabetacrap" on my adventures.

Well I am sure you have all been on the edge of your seats, wondering how I would find mats in time for our Portugal trip to replace the ones the numpty courier lost last week.....

A big recommendation for http://www.actionoutdoors.co.uk/ who pulled out all the stops and replaced the old model mats I had paid for with brand new hot off the press new model ones (that will now cost nearly twice the price) without charging me any extra.



The yellow thing is the new style schnozzel pump in silnylon I think. It came with the mats but I don't like it one bit!
At first glance it looks to be smaller and lighter than the old style pump but I weighed them both and the new one is actually slightly heavier at 61g vs 45g. It also doesn't pack down a whole lot smaller, though I spose you could use it as a dry bag for other things and get dual use out of it, though I would be afraid of puncturing it in that case as it is very thin.




This is going to make me sound like a moany old person, but I wish they had just left the pump as it was. It only took a couple of minutes if that to inflate each mat with the old pump, whereas now you have to wag this bag about to fill it with air and then contort yourself to force the air into the mat.
