Bit of silicone sealant editing on the sole and jobs a good 'un. Might need to raise the saddle a couple of inches though....

Reminds me of this collection released recently........why not just put your backpack in a pannier/box/thingy.....woodsmith wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 4:34 pm Turn your backpack into a pannier......https://www.pannierhooks.com/typeB.html

New Ortleib seatpack that clips onto seat rails and a collar round the seat pin.
Looks too narrow up front as noted and I'm always a bit suspicious of plastic brackets that can break leaving you in the lurch somewhere....
Doesn't constitute a proper review, poor showbikepacking. com.
"We managed to take one on a few rough rides to see how it performs prior to launch. Find a detailed review .. "
I guess that if a hook breaks you have to strap it to the seat rails like an ordinary bag for the rest of the ride with a spare strap, a shoe lace or a bit of bailer twine? As far as I can see the clip it butts up again the saddle rails in a slight channel. aApair of J shaped clips pull in opposition, hooking this into the saddle rails.
If a hook breaks- it all fails.. call me cynical...
Which funnily enough was what I had to do with an old Ortleib saddlepack many years ago....Hamish wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 11:19 pmI guess that if a hook breaks you have to strap it to the seat rails like an ordinary bag for the rest of the ride with a spare strap, a shoe lace or a bit of bailer twine? As far as I can see the clip it butts up again the saddle rails in a slight channel. aApair of J shaped clips pull in opposition, hooking this into the saddle rails.

Will give it a try on the front. Should be good.
Is it just me, or do those cleat slots look a lot more off-centre than other shoes?Alpinum wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 7:49 pm Five Ten Trailcross now as clip in's and with a strap available:

Same here.
Shimano XM9's are like that, as are my new Lake Mxz's. I also recall a really good pair of nike bike shoes I had yonks ago were the same - I think its a wide shoe thing and you don't notice in practicebelugabob wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 3:14 pmIs it just me, or do those cleat slots look a lot more off-centre than other shoes?Alpinum wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 7:49 pm Five Ten Trailcross now as clip in's and with a strap available:
