How do the road and trail differ in use. Obviously you need some time with them first :)

Yep! Not used them yet
Trail is lighter and does seem to make things brighter somehow
Road is darker, the tint is hard to describe
Unfortunately my riding at the moment is mostly in the dark (ride to work, ride home from work, night MTB ride)
Picked them up for a good price though, and for the next 6 months the days are getting longer so I'll be putting them to work soon hopefully!

A B&M Secula Plus rear light for the commuter - it's dynamo powered so just need to wire it in. Of course the blurb said that the unit didn't come with any wiring so I've ordered that as well and that will be delivered on Weds along with some other kit. Guess what dropped out of the packaging?

Specialized Riprock 12 for wee nipper. Arrival has coincided with horrendous rain. The 12er plus tyres have coped well on tricky kitchen lino and living room carpet.

Sold my SmD lunar solo before the festivities ( + a W/country Sololite & a gelert solo),
So yesterday was new tent day, after much deliberation, got a good price on a Eureka
Lone tree 3( think Go lite Shangri la with heavier fabric) heavy some may say but very
Adaptable, should get fly/pole &pegs down to < 1600g which for the size of it is okay
For me, with standard inner< 2500g which is how it will be used for 10 days in the I.o.m,
Pack size is good as standard too. Before the weight weenies attack, I needed a tent
That can do everything including car camping with Mrs Kicker plus if we ever actually
Get a summer I've got a Rab bivi/ golite tarp combo in reserve.
Unpacked and checked this morning and the quality is excellent

Received a couple of Carnac Enduro helmets today from On One on their deal of the day, they were a bargain at £15 each reduced from £50. I couldn't decide what colour to buy so I got a green and a black seeing as they were so cheap! Also a chain cleaning brush and some single use chamois cream sachets
Could only fit one extra helmet in my bag on the way home from work so I'll post up a pic of the black one tomorrow.

A Ravpower 21000mAh battery; a USB cable with a right-angled connector (so that it will fit into the socket on a Garmin Oregon and not foul the bike mount); some dynamo light cables which I don't actually now need as the light came with cables; a bar extender (bike not alcoholic) and a thermos flask which is just too big to fit in a stem cell

so that's going back.
Next delivery will actually be a pick-up and very similar to yours Richard

Not bike related but I've been receiving many parcels lately filled with a new hobby of mine....rubik's cubes!
I've got about 12 now in different shapes and sizes, and yes, before anyone asks, I've got an ultralight travel one as well!
Weighing 6g, 1"x1"x1" and fully functional !
Gotta have a way to keep occupied on long winter nights (or train/bus rides, dull parties or visits from inlaws)
