Yep I have the smaller grey version. Anybody know the litre size of the large expid one, the Neo Air one is 40l, my grey one is more like 5l.

My new to me camera for travelling and cycle touring(hipster or otherwise!) Got a minolta lens adapter to go with it so I could use some of my old 35mm lenses. Given the collection of old lenses I have I imagine that I will be buying more adapters as I go on!! I have shot a few of them, pretty sharp for the most part with lovely separation when shot wide open, especially the 50mm. Not as contrasty as a modern lens, but I am ok with that.


My shelter also finally turned up this week, from Japan. Tyvek Khufu, pitched it in the garden(much to the amusement of my colleagues) and it's pretty roomy for the weight(400grm) A little white at the moment though.
All in all a good week so far

Those are real nice bodies. I've been thinking for picking one up as a backup for my X-T1 or for shoots where multiple bodies would be useful. Good choice

Yeh, very impressed. I have never used the focus peaking before, bloody whitchcraft, in a good way!! Astounding how accurate( and fast) you can focus through the EVF I fancy an XT-1 or2 at some point, just wanted to try the X system as I am a die hard film shooter for landscapes.

After a failed delivery to someone elses house yesterday, Hermes got their sh1t together and delivered to the right premises. I'm now the happy owner of a telescopic bike stand to get my girls up off the floor and buy back some floor space in here.

Royal Mail on the other hand d1cked me about and delivered my Esperanza Spalding CDs to someone else. Very unimpressed. [Edit: some kind soul put them in the box this morning...my faith in humanity is restored.]

Thermarest Neoair pumpsack is good, I've had one for a few years

Also converts it a neoair into a stool but I usually have a chair kit

Another rucksack turned up today, plus a Marmot Thermo top. And a replacement Drinksafe Travel Tap bottle after losing my original one in the Alps, still have the filter though

More fun in the post today...more music and an Airshot to do my tyres sans compressor. Happy days.

Not sure but it's a great bit of kit, used one for a couple of years now and takes about 5 fills to my NeoAir. Also doubles as a seat (like Ben says)

There's a (massive) thread on STW with loads of love for the Dune. The thread's called something like "Would you buy a fat bike for under £1K?". Lots of tips for upgrades.

I've been lusting after one for a while and that thread on STW is partially responsible for my purchase.

I took it out for a ride in Epping forest this afternoon and just loved it. On single track it was just amazing bulldozing over roots and bumps and just floating over muddy sections.

Trailstar clone from Aliexpress turned up today. Looks OK quality and weighs 539g in pouch with supplied lines. It also came with a tube of silicone and some ally pegs. Won't get a chance to pitch it for a while, though, as I'm away this weekend.
