I got some Aldi base layers. Just been out all night on a ride and it kept me perfectly warm and not hot and sweaty. Also got some of their merino socks.

Not the prettiest thing ever I'll admit.......
Waiting on my cranks arriving but the rest of it arrived- tandem gear and brake cables big fat sks mudguards (,which will be getting the milk carton and corriboard treatments to extend and make a skirt guard for under the panniers incase of passengers -,ie wife when we go to the pub)
26inch rear wheel (1998 big un on ex721 from my old dh race bike) and 700c at front , some ragley Carnegie's I won at a mates race , downtube ultegra shifters mated to deore shadow + 12-36 rear cassette old king 1 1/8th king headset for no other reason than I wanted one when i was a kit and a very old use shok post
Will be 1*9 :)
Bar drive train it's all used /reclaimed
Fingers crossed it works as planned and I can get rid of a car....

Picked a 700 fill duck down blanket up today in Costco, comes with stuff sack,
Measures 177cm x 152cm ( the blanket, not the stuff sack
) packs nice and
small for £15 ! Don't know how warm It's going to be, feels okay for the price though
As a top up or summer quilt

Wish my post man would hurry up.
18.9ah 48v battery and a bafang bbshd motor is in the post from em3ev in China and was due on Monday as per shipping docs for the monstrosety I posted above.
DPd still have not received it at customs.

Bumper day today - replacement Garmin 800 in time for BB200; a chrome pump with Woods valve adaptor for the butchers bike (not for the BB200), and some new bars for the hardtail (Mt Zoom 720mm), tubeless valves and carbon bottle cage for the CX bike.
And contact lenses for the other half (although I look better without them).

To go with my rigid forks from the other day I just got some on-one OG bars. Only just fitted but they seem pretty good for wrist position without changing my reach....

A Berghaus hyper-condom-smock thing. I can't believe anything that fragile comes with a 'lifetime' warranty. Imagine if they made a bivi bag from that stuff...

The first time I wore mine it ended up with little dimples all over the back from where mud had hit it. I carefully cleaned it but they are still there, however they disappeared after a couple of days.

The lifetime of the product, not the owner I bet, i.e. as long as you'd expect a paper thin garment to last if used in harsh conditions.
