Oval ring, bigger cassette, rad cage and a seat post the original one snapped at the head. Oval feels very round, I like it

Altura Peloton Transformer jacket. Will be used for off road duties (prefer to keep commuting/road kit separate from off road kit). Already have a Gore Phantom, like the idea of a convertible windproof with jersey pockets

Montane Dyno Stretch jacket. Will be used for walking or local pottering

Oh, and some more batteries for my quadcopter, gets through one at an alarming rate!

Very impressed by the attention to detail, fit, etc - as good as anything I have seen from Arc'teryx. The Neoshell fabric is supposedly the most breathable of hard shells, other than the new single layer Gore-tex active, which is so delicate it is not recommended for mtb use, or with any kind of back-pack.

Can't wait to try it in anger, although also in no hurry for the autumn deluge to begin...!

Cheers, it rides in almost disappointingly normal way. I did manage to rub the bags on a gatepost though. That was funny in itself, threw open the gate rolled clear and tried reaching back to pull the gate shut. Not happening unless I change my login to Reed Richards.......

Hello everyone, not spending as much time on here as I'd like - I blame too many wheeled object requiring work. (oh yeah, and work itself).

Anyway, we all like a bit of storage stuff on here. Recently I was putting in yet another order of tyres for my commuter bicycle, but recently my Lezyne bottle storage thingy that I keep my spare tube / multi-tool in had decided the lid wouldn't stay on (insulating tape worked as a temporary fix this last week). I thought I might just go back to using a regular wide opening bottle, but when browsing, I came across this wonderful little creation by vittoria.

Waay more accessible, and just wrap it in a sandwich bag (like I do my pump) to stop all the road grime from buggering up the zip. A few photos next to the standard bottle replacement affair.

- Spare mech hanger
- 3 x cable ties
- now also a bit of insulating tape.

- behind the scenes is also a lezyne pressure drive pump.

A new pair of DT Swiss OPM forks to replace the rather rubbish Reba solo air forks on my hardtail. 1570grams of magnesium goodness.

If they are as good as the getting on a bit DT Swiss forks on my singlespeed I'll be happy..

continental tyre, a new wingnut pack, merino top
Shimano winter goretex boots, new event jacket
A assortment of gels and bars ready for the bb200 and a SOL escape bivi
and some other crap I cant think of now and probably didn't need

Not the postman, but a trip to Aldi furnished me with a new Merino mid layer and beanie. I have a load of Aldi merino base layers and they are always brilliant in value and performance and have out lived my Endure Baabaas and Planet X ones.

The Aldi mid layer is the first of its kind with some nice features like a small phone type pocket on the left arm and thumb loops.
