+1
Installed some Easton Arc 30, DT Comp, Hope Pro 4 on my ssp. Got new Endura MTR shorts and some Conti 2.4 X-Kings too.
Quick spin on the new wheels felt good. And loud...

Just took owenership of a new Exposure Revo Dynamo LED to replace my current Toro light.

A 50cm Specialized Allez Sport for SWMBO which will either be a great surprise or....well let's not go there!
I think she'll just be relieved her suspicion I'd ordered a tandem was wrong.

Finally wore out the old pair after a very distinguished 5 year career including bike carries up the Snowdon, Sca Fell and Ben Nevis

Flow Mk3s for the Rooster - saved a fair bit of weight and really easy to run tubeless - with the carbon fork I picked up off here a few weeks ago the Rooster feels so much better!

Hopefully you're not going to Everest them all

At #140 is Thwaites Brow

The above blog belongs to Tejvan Pettinger who was 2013 UK hill climbing champion - might be good at climbs then...

Surely it's now just a database, seeing as you've blown the secret bit?

No, not all of them
To be fair, not all of them lend themselves to Everesting, but it seemed easier to get a book covering the whole country as it was getting a bit tedious using the Strava segment explorer.
Got my eye on a couple anyway - one off road and one on road; both in Wales.

I was thinking about this earlier and thought, perhaps some of the forests might contain suitable climbs ... many have a decent surface, suitable gradient and are quiet.

There were a couple of forest roads we rode on the way back to Llangurig after Bearstock that were just long and steady - this one

) Maybe this one -

Must've stopped for a nap on the Sweet Lamb one (as did Ione, by the look of it).
Gradient is the key to it all. Too flat gives you too must distance to do. Too steep gives you to much lactic acid in your legs

Arrived earlier this week - a very nicely made custom front 1/4 bag for a new roadie rando bike, in time for going to Germany and then onto Turin-Nice. Made from a template taken from my cad file so fingers crossed that it fits well! Certainly looks good based on offering it up to the current version of the bike. Now my frame bag, seat pack and harness will all match up. Plus, I can do nothing but 'TLS' with a bag this size..

My copy of Bicycle Times magazine ... it is nice to read something where bikes are seen as transport rather than toys, penis extensions or toy penis extensions

A Hunka bivvy bag in Kelp from Scott of the woods. Unfortunately the temptation of copious amounts of alcohol won this weekend so hoping to get out and test it out next weekend.

Few parcels to collect from the post office today - Hope lower headset and tools to remove the old one and fit the new one which has finally enabled me to fit the Travers carbon fork from JohnClimber (pic below - excuse the French mud!)

A bit of a haul of odds and sods- some decathlon bibs and a silk liner, new grips for the OH and i, a kom i21 rim because the crest on the back of the crosser is looking knackered and some alpkit running socks.
Also popped down to the bike shop to use a tool (i took biscuits) and came back with some Morvelo nth series bibs that were on sale. Wasn't supposed to happen but looking forward to trying them out!

Some odds and sods for the forthcoming B+ Build: grips, pedals, headset spacers and some Hope 142 bolt through converters in case I fancy trying to run it with my Solaris wheelset....
