I like parcels being delivered, a nice new wignut bag, a box containing a load of very lightweight alpkit stuff, a very light and small parcel containing a tent.
just waiting for the big parcel from Oregon to land.....

Got a nice delivery (as it was a customs avoidance success!) today of my whacky new bars.
With these on my On-one 'Lurcher' with CX wheels I've got to be in contention for the much coveted prize of 'oddest looking bike' at the upcoming Turin-Nice event, no?
I'm optimistic that they'll give me a lot of options for climbing, descending and cruising over 700 hilly km's.
Let's see.....

Just hope the K Light turns up tomorrow ready for Bearstock
That's a fairly rapid turn around from "I don't need dynamo lights"!

I had a visit from Postman Zippy this evening as he weaved his way towards the west...a set of wheels for the Montana build, some bars 'n grips and a spanky nice Fizik Gobi. Thanks a bunch, Zippy! :)

Ok, Postie Marus didn't deliver it. I had to go collect it. My almost new Elddis Explore 304 - small but perfectly formed. Been wanting one for years for holidays with the kids who are fine for two or three days in our tent but ....... who am I kidding. This is for ME. First trip in two weeks - off for a week of surfing and kayaking in Cornwall then a week of touring in Wales (suspect there may be some trail centres visited) Gonna stick a TV in it, and all.

OMM Phantom Hoody ... waterproof goodness, no pockets, no zip, no leaks and reduced from £125 to £75 so seemed a good option. I've had an OMM Kamleika smock before and apart from it being too big, was very happy with the performance.

Hope Race Evo X2 brakes for the main bike
I've just moved house and an added benefit is I got a month off paying the mortgage as the last payment on the old one before redemption was May and the first on the new one will be late July so I thought I'd better invest the windfall on something nice and support British industry at the same time
