Cost £80 (£65 standard stingray + £15 for the document wallet side thing). Document wallet standard is on the drive side, but I asked nicely and they put it non drive side. Only thing I would say is that I wish there was an option to get like a soft coating or something on the back of the velcro straps, but I could do that myself and it's best to tape the frame anyway IMHO.

Probably won't be trying it out for a few weeks though as I have other more pressing bike and car things to sort beforehand :?

Hi Nobby, Alfine8 with a 24-22 ring combo. Great for deep snow etc but wll probably run an 18 rear for spring onwards. As it is a loaded bike that will get used when I suspect the ground may be hard on a 29er I am happy to run it pretty low.

Sweet ride Gari, I'm about 95% through adding a dyno hub to my fatty, can't wait to try it out. IGH might be next 8-)

A good day today for me! New foam lock-ons for the Swift (so I can remove the Alfine shifter easily when swapping to SS), 3-pairs of On-One merino socks in "dennis the menace flavour".....and an Exposure Diablo Mk4. A massive indulgence on my part as I've always been an advocate of Chinese lanterns. However a couple of days before El-an Back I blew mine plugging in a battery pack from my other set.

@Dusza, how did you fit a dunno hub to a 135 fork? I really wanted a dyno hub on mine but couldn't find a solution, would be interested to see what you did/got.

Gari, I didn't. Bought a 100mm pugsley fork. I don't think there's anything on the market to help fit a dynohub in 135mm ? Would be sweet though.

The mk2 Exposure Six Pack has just arrived to join the Diablo. I think eBay is gonna get banned at home. :?

An EDC gear hammock arrived from Mat at UK Hammocks yesterday.
Billy, my youngest desperately wants to sleep in a hammock so the wife suggested hanging one in his bedroom this evening. After checking her medication, I put up the new gear hammock which is plenty big enough for young kids to use and both Billy and his sister love it. I think the wife is now regretting her decision.
