On Tuesday Thursday and Saturday it is run by the devil using Quantum Theory.
I didnt get where I am today by not knowing this.

It's the whole business of my bike being in two places at exactly the same time which I'm battling with at the moment. Also I'm usually pretty good at measuring my momentum so that means I've no idea what my position is - ie. I'm well and truly lost which sounds normal for me.

Are we talking Minkowski four dimensional space time continuum or more Heart of Gold with Zaphod at the controls?
If you are going to Bearstock we can discuss this over a few beers when all will become clear.

Which means my Garmin Oregon now has a full quota of battery contacts again and isn't bodged with a folded bit of tin foil!

Very slinky those are Pickers. "foresee a day of skinned shins" - some spoonerism possibilities there I think.... and I bet you couldn't say it fast five times.

Anyway, today I am mostly opening parcels of:
- "Bikepacking" by McJannet - it's alright I suppose. Bit too much "I went down this bridleway.. looked at that scenery..listened to those birds". Could've done with more funny stories, people he met and talked to, and loads more about how he bivvied, what kit he used etc etc. And DON'T ask Stu about all those fires .
- "History Of The Dylife Mines" by Brown - great stuff. If you want another nerdy subject, how about caving and mine exploring, I love it. I'm still trying to work out how to combine it with bikepacking. Have kipped in a couple of caves but not with bike yet, and you can MTB tour a mine if you fancy (http://www.bikenomad.com/en/main/underground).

So plenty to read in the bath there.

Oh, and an extra seat tube strap for my Koala, which kept slipping sideways away from the post at the bottom end, during WRT. (freebie, thanks Alpkit).

He lives just up the road, very nice fella. Obviously, the entire area is dotted with old mines, there's plenty in the forest here and I still keep discovering more from time to time.

Lots of nuts and bolts (and washers, p clips, mikalor clamps and self tapping screws).
