I was just going to say pretty much the same as Alex - ease of use. Also, you're likely to be carrying a bottle anyway so may as well add additional benefits if possible but for many, I think the main appeal is lack of faff.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
I used to use a drinksafe travel tap, it's very similar. I had the cycling bottle version and this was my only filter for years. I've had two - one died because i let the filter freeze and the other fell out my bag
Moved to a trailshot because it's easier filling up from very shallow streams and little runs that flow below ground level through a crack. Agree that a bottle filter is sometimes easier. I'm only posting to say that this isn't the only product on the market the meets the brief

Good saving.. but its cheaper and I'll save more if I don't buy itBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 9:54 am Anyone looking for a mall rucksack / backpack might be interested in the Nano packs here: https://www.gaynors.co.uk/gregory-m304 I've got the larger of the two and it's ideal for a day walk or even a summer overnighter. Very well made with some nice touches.

... I'll stick with the Aarn.....

Iirc TrekInn are Spanish so you'll have all the brexit bobbins to deal with so maybe not as cheap as the ticket price.

Nah - it's all fine as long as your order is below £135 or so. I've had some stuff from them recently without any problems.Cheeky Monkey wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 11:42 pm Iirc TrekInn are Spanish so you'll have all the brexit bobbins to deal with so maybe not as cheap as the ticket price.

Wow! RRP of £730 for a fancy watch/distraction device? Even half price is eye-watering...........
I know some folk have more cash than time and need to maximise training seconds etc, but

Crazy cheap for the Ti Vandal. The wild pricing swings of PX can sometimes be beneficial...techno wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:05 am on one rocky road Ti frame (SMALL) £400 https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FROOROCKY ... ture-frame
