Technically not a "night" ride, in as much as it's an, er, "day" ride; but on Weds will be doing something like Calver (early PM) - Eyam - Bradwell Moor - Hope for Cheshire Cheese beer/nosh about 6pm. 30 mins of night ride (to allow me onto this thread) to crash out near Jaggers (ta IanF) or Wooley Knoll. Thurs to Mam Tor - Tideswell - Great Rocks - Chelmorton - maybe over to Longnor - Priestcliffe - Monsal - Longstone Edge - Calver. Boozers/riders welcome. Black tie and Postman Pat horns optional.

Anyone about next week? Weather prospects are looking nice and I'm thinking of getting out midweek. Wouldn't mind some company and expertise.

Alas Tuesday is my one evening I can't do due to an ongoing regular commitment to tramp beers and bike polo.

Wednesday or Thursday are good for me though.

Wednesday looking a bit mince weather wise so probably going to aim to head out on Thursday and see if I can't find a bit of mucky fun.

It's looking lovely so definitely out tonight. Probably via Moorwood Lane, Wyming Brook, Stanage Pole and back into town via the bridlepath running over the top of Totley Tunnel.

Done quite a bit in the last 10 days so could do with a couple of easy days

Fair do's.

I'm a bit busy with other nonsense next week. Might see how it looks the week after.

The after I'll be doing 'a bit of a ride' up in Scotland. May not want to look at a bike for a while after that

Well that was a nice evening out. Lovely hazy views over the Hope Valley and Mam Tor, finally got to see the new pole at Stanage and tried out a new trail which was a mix of puddles and technical. Temperature's taken a nose dive though. Not quite enough extra layers taken out.

I need to make an effort to get out more - so if anyone's thinking of doing a peak ride one evening and fancies some (fairly slow atm) company can you let me know :)

Mark and I have been out most Mondays or Tuesdays, will try to get a regular monday slot booked in for autumn and winter. Currently in the Pyrenees until mid August so won't be around until then.

There was a talk of a womens regular off road ride. I know Jo, Jo and Jen who are keen as they had all mentioned to me individually that they'd like to do more off road riding. I can put you in touch with them via FB. Not that you are unwelcome to join us (or that men are banned from the other ride either - I went on the first one)
