Good man, modern cars are so soul-less these days, and any savings you make in fuel/tax will be offset by monthly payments or purchase cost or whatev's. I was about to harp on, but I'll stop now.

I managed to crack one of the tubes on the purple on . I usually hammer it around Cannock chase .dog/monkeytrail.
when I ride alone on there I think everyone who I see I will get past them so I don't plod around,
just as a little game in my onw head ,( 97 people last sunday ) ,
this usually end up with me riding like a t**t , and a tad harsh ,
every time I go around it on any bike I think it takes a battering ( with my vaguely exciting athletic power ) and the track surface in places,
cleaned it off Monday and I had cracked the chainstay near the bb,
top warranty service emailed andy at 11 am Monday , he rang up and said he would send me another newer mk 2 fame out by 11.45
going to send him the old one back so he can have alook, he said he may get it fixed and keep it as its one of the first run.
he couldn't apologise enough , but as I said frames break all the time no matter what make.

Bits and bobs from Alpkit. (Dybags, a fuelpod and stem cell large and XL and some other stuff). Very expedient service. Ordered Thursday, had it Saturday. Only problem, 2 x stemcells instead of 1x stemcell and 1 Stemcell XL. Wrote them Saturday about it, they replied sunfday..Talk about custumer service!!
Now im just in the thinking box, because the P&P will cost me more, includng the price difference. Thats the problem with being in a 3rd world country (Denmark) concerning backpacking, we can only use out of country online shops for relevant kit..
But big Cudos to Aplkit for fast shipping (and the P&P company they use). And even bigger for answering on a Sunday, thats a first for me... And I dont blame the company in any way, it's an honest mistake for a busy company. On the contrary, their service is good.

I'm sure they will sort it out (they have given me options, I just have to think what I wan't. . It was not a call, it was a reply to email..But thats no difference to me, Did not expect to hear anything until today or tommorow. As I said, I'm happy with the service so far.

One of these from Endura, the reversable gilet. Been waiting a long time since Naythan there hinted that they'd already thought of my 'great idea' (my words not his) for the flipjak they've had for a while, and it was on the way : )



Magic bit of kit. I love primaloft gilets for general lower-paced winter rides and this has the reversable feature I wanted for that perfect mix of road visibility and more subtle general use. A tad warmer and closer-fitting than the Montane Prism size-for-size, so a bit more easy to over-heat wearing it but also warmer when stopped. Zip works really easily to vent it, zero faff one-handed with gloves on. Used it over the weekend and really like it. (should add, it seems to be within 25g of the Montane Prism weight)
