I'm using these and for the money they're great. Gari, sorted my knee pain out too and I went from 170 mm, only 5 mm difference.

Got a new etrex bar mount from China after breaking my other one when fitting my new forks. £1.69 Inc postage, eBay bargain and took two weeks to arrive.

Those are hit and miss. I bought an official Garmin one, and 2 super cheap chinese ones like that. Garmin one is good. One of the chinese ones is good. The other chinese one is terrible!

Looks and feels exactly the same as my previous one so should be good, here's hoping.

Had enough of constantly recharging batteries for the commute.

Dare say I'll be buying another cable setup for the 29er in the near future, hence the 15mm hub.

Base Runner 2 bag to replace back pack.
Camel .75l bottles with flip top fit right in so have choice of .5l or .75l.
Just need to dive into the darker corners of the back pack and see what is in there that I can do without.
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

I feel a little summer 'Pass Storming' coming on.

Uhm yes, sadly it's been painted with what I assume was the rough end of a ragman's trumpet but otherwise it's fairly unmolested. I'm sure I can find a trace of original paint somewhere. I'm hoping I can save the saddle too :ugeek:

It's an early 60's Mercier 'Raymond Poulidor' .... so I'm told.

Sadly, I took my eye off the ball and missed it  However, there may be a late 40's Holdsworth on the cards ... I'm intrigued by the 3 speed free/fixed flip-flop hub.

I used to use the same, now I generally refuse to buy a headset without a split lower race. Like what hope have.

I just use a dremmel to cut my crown races, takes 10s and works perfectly :-bd
