A nice big box containing this years BB200 T shirts. There's also another box due which should contain something else BB200 related but I'll keep quiet about that until the start

Not particularly bike related, but the postie brought 10 iPhone 6S's today

Probably ranks as the most expensive consignment ever received in this household...

Not the postie but the mechanic at work
brought in an xt derailleur, shifter, cassette and chain for me (10 speed) at a bargain price. I supplied the hope chain ring and now I'm 1x10 :-bd

No longer a single speed mountain biker but think my knees after 9 years of it will thank me

Gutted I won't be earning one of those fancy T-Shirts this year. Best of luck to all the gladiators taking up the challenge, at least the trails will be dry...!

No, an orange one but in really nice, nearly mint condition! Most pleased. What's he going to do to test it I hear you ask? Hauling the kids swimming gear around centre parcs, can't get more bike packing than that hey?

New forks arrived from China on Friday, but the dropout thread wasn't cut properly. Tried to sort today - LBS didn't have the right tap, and neither did any of the garages. Found an engineering firm up a backstreet that does stuff for Boeing, and even they didn't - said it was an odd metric thread. Instead, they worked on the thru axle to fit what was there - there really was very little relationship between the fork as delivered and the thru axle supplied. I guess that's why it was £120, rather than the £400 I'd have had to pay for a Salsa equivalent. Sorted now.

One of the mechanics swapped everything over and got it all sorted for this afternoon. Quite pleased with 25.15lbs with Jones bars. Could easily get it in the 24s by switching back to the 150g Bontrager bars it came with.

Going to load it up with my BB200 stuff tonight and take it out for a run tomorrow.
