Home, fed, watered and most definitely broken!

I'll get to inserting all the new numbers in the morning as I'm pooped.

Ok, everyone is entered and saved!

I swear I'll produce that graphic shortly. Did I once say monthly? Clearly I meant quarterly :-bd

As for me, heading in the right direction again:

01-01-2019 - 115.7kg
01-02-2019 - 113.3kg
01-03-2019 - 114.5kg
21-03-2019 - 115.3kg
30-03-2019 - 114.5kg

Not bad all things considered.

Absolutely joyous ride yesterday but a visit from an old friend of an injury (first appeared during the 2014 BB200) has me a little worried.

Not going into details it involves the least pleasant bike/human interface point and bleeding :???:

Off to the doctor this morning to see what's what.

Keep up the good work everyone - you got this!!!

I've come to realise that life hates me this year!

So, you'll recall the bum issues from last week's thrilling installment of 'What's going to go wrong with Gairy next', well that was diagnosed and treated and all was looking rosy again.

I had planned another nice long century ride for today but thought that I should at least do a little bum test ride before committing to such long day in the saddle.

Went for said ride and all was well in the posterior department - jobs a good 'un......except.....I then promptly fell off my bike after hitting a rogue pipe in the road (I was riding through a closed section of roadworks so my bad).

I took a lot of skin off and felt like I'd been run over but felt mostly ok until the next morning when my wrist was swollen and didn't want to move without being very hurty.

A looooong visit to A&E later and my arm is in a cast with a suspected Scaphoid fracture.

I'll know for sure next week after another x-ray once the swelling has gone down but it's less than bloody ideal.

So no biking and no running as my ankle still isn't 100% from the sprain of that a couple of weeks ago.

Arse!!!

But I'm still breathing (for now) and so all is not lost.

Let's see how everyone else is doing weight-wise this week, I hope you're all having an easier time than I am.....

22.3.19: 80kg
05.3.19: 80kg

Steady on normal diet and exercise so happy enough.
Now I need to turn back on the weight loss and see if I can hit 75-76kg by B150 in 4 weeks.

Apologies chaps, I've not been back here for a little while. It's taken a wee while to get used to a few changes, but I'm sort of back up and running (shuffling?)now. I've been aiming to maintain weight rather than lose (or rise too much) recently, actually quite pleased with this weeks numbers.

Oh well, proper weigh in next week to see what I can do about that.

Morning all,

I'm currently away and so intermittent ability to get access to the spreadsheet etc...

Add everything as usual and I'll get to it as/when I get a chance.

Good luck everyone. I'll not have chance to weigh myself until I'm back home in another week so I'll just have to wait to see what's what for me.

But at least I'm back (mostly fully) functioning again. Got a big ride planned for tomorrow so all is good in the world.

Blech, I hate it when this happens. Well under my calorie targets for the last couple of days, eating really healthily... and still up a meaningful amount on the daily weigh-ins.

I'm sure it'll just be one of those blips, but I'm not a fan when I'm working really hard to get consistent drops. :(

I've not been on this thread for a couple of months as, frankly, I've been avoiding it...

My work has been stressful (my boss was off and I was 'acting up') and my mental health hasn't been the best. My weight has been fluctuating but not breached the 110kg 'barrier' again so all is not lost.

However, it's spring and I've just completed the first multi day bikepacking trip, I've ordered a (part) new bike and this is traditionally the time of year when I can lose weight...

Pre trip (i.e. friday am) I was 108.4kg, so still above my starting weight for the year (2 kg less this am but no doubt will be hit by a post trip pig-out...). Hey ho.

I know it's late April now...and I'm not really one to be worried about weight - but I'm a few kg heavier than I want to be and think this might be enough of an incentive to help. Any proper fat clubs would laugh me out, but I do a reasonable amount of exercise, so trying to shed weight is actually quite difficult.

I've got a spreadsheet where I've weighed myself (and body fat %age - although that accuracy of that is questionable, it's the same machine so gives an indication...) since late 2017 (think I have it jotted down in a book before then!).

I used to be around 60kg (132lbs) and 3 to 4% body fat. I'm 178cm (5ft 10)tall. I've recently been north of 63kg and sometimes as much as 8% body fat.
I'd like to get back to 60kg and 4%.

Yes I know that sounds petty...but the struggle is real!

So, can I join in?
