I was thinking of having the karrimor over the montane but I weighed my Filo this morning and it's not as heavy as I thought sp gonna give the karrimor a miss as it's probably as good as the montane fireball I've got already.

Packs of 4 40g 9bars were two for £2.50 in Waitrose yesterday, which is cheaper (by weight) than buying a box of 16 50g bars off the 9bar website. Choice of flavours too.

Typical. They deliver to France but won't deliver to us in the sticks in Dorset, 12 miles from the nearest store!

Not so - I got 'em delivered to the UK (for later pick-up).
Though.....there are little pockets of (very well off) Brits (mostly on the West coast of France) who club together to get weekly Waitrose deliveries. :?

Even if I have to re-tension everything the rims and spokes alone would retail at nearly that price.
Update to this, I would advise against these now. 120miles and the rear freehub is about done.

30% off everything at Overboard. Be quick as previous sales have been pretty brief.

Should have added this applies to full price products and needs code "MERRYCHRISTMAS".
Lasts until 12 noon, Monday 17 December 2012.

Also, if you're into hammock stuff and are prepared to chance stuff shipping from the states / customs then there's a lot of reductions on the site:

You've got to be cautious about anything that comes in a handled bag. Over 1.5kg and 2foot long, it'd be good training for the Alps

Just by replacing the pole & pegs with something other than steel will lose most of that.

Craghoppers are having a bit of a clearance, some jackets, fleeces and softshells which might be worth a look if you're in the market.

Arrived today. Bargain.. Size M suits me at 6ft/11.5-12st, nicely snug fit, not gappy at arm or waist hems and reasonable length. No tug adjusters tho. Thin, low fill power down but feels warm enough as a 175g small-pack mid layer.
