If I went back I would pre book pods, and cycle between them, you could make the trip much better. It would cost a little more but a lighter bike would be faster and easier to carry.
As for shelter, I have spoken to a supplier stateside, and they are currently constructing a shelter to my design and requirements, it should be here in a few weeks. The Laser Comp may be retired :o
Roll on next trip, just hope the weather gets better!

Looking forward to seeing Reveal The Path, did they tackle the NE shore of Loch Lomond, I'm guessing not :lol:

Great write-up, does read rather like a tragic comedy though! Gotta be some Type 2 Fun in there somewhere? :D

Seriously, it was fun! It was the most fun, I'd had in years, I mean the episode with the gull is still making me chuckle. The midges are forever Type 3.

The thing I'll take away from the WHW, were the people and their friendliness.
