True but a twatish name is still a twatish name regardless of the reason behind having it and besides ... he doesn't look too romantic
Wanna bet on that romance comment...

The more I see of this Ultra-romance guy, the more I like him*. Seems like a trip with him with be a hoot

Such a shame about Kyle, I watched his original film in Manchester at one of those adventure shows, had a lasting memory for me. The film had a good mix of emotions, coolness and 'adventure', almost the perfect film for me. I've watched it many times since and was saddened to hear of his death last year (i'm not like that with celebrities but Kyle was different)

*Not like that  Alright, maybe a little

The bloke's association with Specialized is a recent thing - I was disappointed when it happened, as he was known for modifying old bikes and had a keen interest in retro parts.
He did, and maybe still does work on his family's fishing boat during the winter months and bike/camp during the summer. There were a few write-ups and interviews with him when his instagram took off.
If you think the Ultra Romance name's bad, some of his other stuff, especially t-shirts is a thousand times more cringeworthy!
Woodly_rat is worth a follow if you like similar stuff on instagram - don't knock instagram either, it's a great way to follow folks' trips. The recent Baja Divide trip on 2nd Jan being a perfect example.
