My semi fatty (29+) is definitely slower on the hills and flat ( and takes a lot more out of my legs) than my hard tail or full susser. But it is a lot quicker downhill than either.

Those that come 2nd always look to the rules.

The rules were two pedal strokes and no more, absolutely nothing about pushing your bike. :-bd

Fat=Fun for me, i couldn't give two figs if its faster or slower, as long as i feel like im making it go the pace im happy with then who really cares .... Not me :-bd

This! Some fat bikers are so keen to point out that fat bikes are the best, it really is off putting visiting the forums these days.

Latest one seems to be telling people to ride properly now :-/

The best bike is usually the one I am riding at the time. Because riding bikes is great :grin:

I am just happy if I manage to get out on the bike.
