As promised Ian, yours was the first I read once I got writing my own out of the way. Superb stuff, well done in both riding and writing.

Thanks very mich for writing this account of your race Ian. Your description of being in that higher mental state is inspiring.

Those times when your fitness, technique, mindset and the challenge all perfectly come together are rare and very special.

I actually proof read mine, and have now made a few tweeks which hopefully help it to scan better. It was written in a bit of a never end stream of consciousness!
