For anyone with an eye on the Highland Trail in the future, this years BB200 is comparable to one of the more difficult days on the route, but not the most difficult.

I did a wee google and it looks like it... might make you more efficient. That would cancel out the hand spasms! And yep, nothing like beetroot for pinky red "outflow" :D

You can get the beetroot as a concentrated shot, its a bit like trying to drink ketchup. I have tried it before a race, does have an effect as in weird feeling but I haven't done a performance test with it.

ok so after 15miles on the cross bike last night .... well one knee is back to normal , one (the one i fell of in the dark and hit on the bb200) is really bad feeling still haha , and my arse is pretty much back to normal ... ;P so thats good
