I really like that rigid stache, looks vaguely exciting. If a cross bike wasn't top of my list (or a Fargo), I'd be researching more.

trek have also brought out some winter cycling shoes with a removable thermal lining. Would have been good for rovaniemi150. Already put my order in for those

Don't fancy spending money on the Trek brand.

What about an On One?

Or from China and build your own

I saw that earlier.....so, either spend 3 years developing and refining an idea, or just rip one off!
You have to hand it to the Chinese though, they are able to churn out a knock off in double quick time!

That looks like an ICAN - but aren't those B+ tyres? I have their fork on my Stache 9 - $130USD. Turned up with the wrong thru-axle and the dropout poorly tapped out.

To be fair, Melody at ICAN wants to put it right, and is great over email. Took maybe 3 weeks from ordering to arrive. got hit for £20 by customs. Tracking worked a charm.

Poorly finished dropout and QR notwithstanding, the fork is actually really nicely done.

My last two Treks have had Giant stickers tucked away in odd places - I think it's usually them that do their lower end stuff.

If you look at the detail, the ICAN clone lacks the uber short stays of the Stache - it's running at 440mm, whereas the Stache is 420 - 405, depending on how daring you are on mud clearance.

ICAN fork with post BB200-fail filth.
