A bit of an issue with this as eldest daughter has a broken arm! does anyone know if the campsite is campervan accessible? She is still keen to go but not ride...

failing that I have a plan B which will involve riding down to the campsite from somewhere up north wales way.

There is camper access which is at the top of the site. It's a good walk though down to the TBB area.
Best give them a call and see.

If I recall, there's a top field you can drive to and walk down to the wilder field. Taylor or Matt could confirm.

Ian, my daughter wasn't too keen on a night under a tarp so we've gone for the soft option of booking our camper in.

As Taylor said we'll have to stroll down to join everyone but she's happy with that.

Grand Depart is at 1pm so I'd expect 3-4pm, depends on tantrums, falling off, applying of magic cream and plasters, administering of bribes to keep going, etc.
The kids should also do well.
We'll head for the seafront at the most southern point again.

I promise I will not have a tantrum this time

Arrive at Dolgellau(SH714182) noon,
Grand Depart is 1pm,
ride to Barmouth along the Gnarly Mawddach trail,
eat chips,
play on the beach,
eat ice cream,
ride to TBB site,
kids run riot, (trips to A&E are optional)
parents get drunk,
sleep,
ride back to Dol' with a hangover via the pub for lunch,
Arrive back at Dol' early afternoon.

There will be a small portage in place for alcohol but that doesn't include tents/sleeping bags/mats/etc. if needed.
Obviously Mid Wales is patchy for phone signal but I'll pop my number up here for the lost/late/stoopid ones among us.
