Cycling wise a 1 litre platypus bladder (much impressed with the quality) and a long sleeve top.

Pork pie hat, whiskey x 2, wine, jeans, sweater, socks, a yard of Jaffa Cakes  .

New winter sleeping bag.

Also hoping that when I get to my mum and dads in 2-3 days that there might be a alpkit filoment vest for me but I really don't know if they have got me one or not. It's probably a bit hopeful to be fair but any way fingers crossed. :)

Picked up new helmets on Christmas eve for me and Mrs nomad. On sale and then 15% off the sale price made it tough to resist. Bell helmets of course

Christmas day was nice and warm , so while the trails here a bit too muddy to ride, we got out for a 100 km road ride.
Nice quiet supper with neighbours rounded out the day.

Yep, my wife buys me them to replace the ones my stepdaughter "borrows" to wear to the stables never to be seen again. It's become a bit of a running joke.

Tab Ascent 700 sleeping bag (thanks Dad), North Face softshell after my last one fell apart (thanks Mum!), and some rather fine cheeses with a fancy cheese knife (thanks sis!).

Just ordered the present to myself too, Nikon D7100 body and a Sigma 10-20 f3.5

That would be more your thing Rob, though it sadly lacks the rubber and zips!

It's a storm kettle, this being the Ghillie version.
