Last year I made up 15 mins on Phil Simcock by taking the right route over Carnau. Didn't alter the final outcome, but going the right way helps

Last year I lost about 30 minutes by trying my damndest to follow you in the distance then completely losing all sense of direction and reality when you disappeared from sight and everyone else caught me over Carnau

I reckon it will be down to a sprint finish. (Sprint is maybe a relative word - could be bike equivalent of a fast hobble)
