Nah.. I've heard they smell a fair amount of the time and have no taste, will drink any beer presented to them.. : )

OK,

Shortage -
A rigid fork 460-475mm long, in return I can swap for a 445mm or 450mm Fortitude sample fork in gloss black. The 450mm would do but it'll make the bike a little faster handling than is 'ideal', would be fine for lanes and tarmac though.
29er disc wheels. I have some DT X455 on Deores in 26" to swap if of use. The frame can take a v-brake so the rear (all silver) A119 on Deore wheel I have could work, if anyone has a QR front disc wheel?
9-spd RD. I have a Deore rapid rise in need of jockey wheels but that's all. Got a Deore FD here.

I have deore triple square taper crank arms but no rings, 68mm mm bb and a pair v8 copy pedals if they are any good.
I've got a brand new set of rings (22 32 44) that'd go on there nicely.
9-spd RD. I have a Deore rapid rise in need of jockey wheels but that's all
9spd rear mech' ... I've a few spare (non RR)

EDIT: Just thought ... does it need building? I'll happily piece it all together.

As for building, im happy enough to do it myself.
I must add that my little sisters boyfriend is a ex bike mechanic so he will help me out with tools and building.

I really cant believe your guys are doing all this for me.
Im 31 with a full beard, stocky, bald and with more tattoos than an ex biker..........and im nearly welling up with your generosity and help.

Thank you all so so much.

Gonna be ordering an ocelot later today, so I'll have a frame bag spare. Hopefully it will fit or go somewhere near so you can carry some gear at least!

Jameso is the guy with the ideas, he has put up a list a few post ago with what he needs to complete the frame he has.
I think the big thing are forks and wheels.
Im sure he will be along with a through list again soon.

As for the frame bag that would be very happily accepted.

 :-bd

Frame - it's a 17" / Med one of these
Image
It's no hardcore MTB but anything that fits it will swap across to a current 29er frame. Would be great if the frame bag fitted.

Looks like a longer front fork and a disc/QR front wheel are the main needs, or a disc wheelset would mean discs can go on F+R. Seems Ray's got the crank and BB sorted. The frame's a 68mm BSA BB shell. Martin, I could just box up what's here to post next week and you and your sister's fella could get spannering?

edit to add, ray's got pedals and Stu's got rings and an RD, so just the bits ^ there to figure out. I'll move the tyre pile tomorrow and if I find a F wheel and manage to escape from under the rubber avalanche I'll post it up.

I've got shot of most of my spares but I've still got a few bits and pieces lying about. As said above, post up a list of what's missing ...

I have a deore/laser disc 29er front wheel, the cones could do with replacing at some point but its straight and true. Just need to pop to the LBS for a box.
Where are we sending this stuff?

I think we have:
Frame
Seatpost, saddle, bars and stem
Cranks, BB and rings
Brakes inc' levers (disc front / V rear)
F+R wheels
Tyres
F+R mech, block and shifters
Pedals

I think we need:
Seat clamp ... what size is it?
Forks

What have I missed? I know it'll be something blindingly obvious

I already have a seat, as my delicate fat butt didnt like the thin seat on the Boss.
Needed a padded one to stop the bruising.!!! lol
