Intents windiness
I do wonder whether it would have seemed less blowy had you remembered your tent pegs? ;)

I forgot this one (and sorry for the poor quality).

Even though we didn't stop riding until after 11.00pm and it was cold, AW insisted on playing Chew and myself a good night lullaby on her harmonica while we got tucked up. I think you'll agree it was a very generous and selfless act ... anyway here she is just tuning up.

Original Winter Bivvy Spot!

Why don't you just leave a cache up there?

It's got DoE crawling all over it in summer ... maybe I could leave a severed head in a tree or something

Had a great time despite the cold, everlasting night. Really chuffed to have won a "Gnorm the Gnome" prize too.

Thank you Stu and Dee for another brilliant event.

Nice write up Mandicky. Those highland cattle gave me a bit of a scare at first Saturday night as a couple were right beside the road.

Highland cattle tend to be very placid even with calves unlike dairy cattle with calves which can become aggresive. Even so, treat with caution if they have young with them.

Great stuff there! How did you find the battery charger? That looks like the exact sort of thing I need. :!:

Battery pack worked well. I stuck it in my frame bag and ran a cable up to the GPS. Oversized for this trip but compact enough... :)
