Yeah, and I think it's a pretty ugly bike as well - but I don't like Pinarello styling of any of their bikes to be honest.
I thought it was just me! Theres not one Pinarello bike I could say looked anything but plain minging. At that price range I just don't get it.
I think it's the opposite, world cup courses are getting more technical and so are the riders, the Olympics course was designed for the french riders so tamer than a world cup. They are riding technical stuff in long sections whilst breathing out their arse seeing stars on XC bikes. Not surprised some come off, no-one critiques DH riders for falling off. Agree entirely. I raced XC for 30 years and these new courses look very difficult in places. Admittedly the smooth gravel tracks on a lot of the course was disappointing but I'm pretty sure I've raced easier downhill courses than those rock gardens and jumps.
