I'd say the X2 is the best option, which is what I have.

https://www.flextail.com/products/tiny-pump-2x

Used for 14 nights of mat inflation in Scotland and as a light (albeit not much as it didn't really get dark) and still had charge left. Works really well as a pump and the light is surprisingly useful as a light when not so far north mid-summer.

I've got the X2 too. It's got the same flow rate as the Zero, which seems to be plenty adequate for inflating a sleep mat. I think the Max Pump 3 would probably be overkill unless you're pack-rafting.

I've been using the zero all year and only charged it once in 12 bivvies. Inflates a neo air in about a minute.

+1 for the zero (I've got a headtorch that doubles as a lantern so don't need the extra light), and was also impressed by the battery that charges via USB C.

Thanks all! Going to treat myself to a NeoAir XLite NXT as well...

If it helps, I went with the Tiny Pump 2X.
It makes a nice lantern in your tent as well which is why I choose that one. I find it a nicer light than using a headtorch so it means I don't take that so actually saves space/weight?
Size is still small, battery lasts a long time and it is a pretty good pump. I can pump up my packraft 3 times on a charge. USB-C is nice too.

They are cheaper on Amazon than from their own website.

Just tried to buy a pump off the https://www.flextail.com/ site, which caused my bank to decline the transaction and freeze my card. Where did you all buy them from...? Cheaperer direct with FLEX10, than off ULOG or Amazon.

Old post, but what's this about a USB-C battery?

Edit - On the subject of air pumps, do these things actually work?

https://www.flextail.com/products/tiny-bike-pump

Everything in me says that they're too small / would need far more battery capacity than the size would allow... but yet the reviews always seem to be positive?

Charging is done by plugging a usb-c cable directly into the battery (which looks exactly like a typical battery!) Never seen it done before. As seen here ... USB-c port at top ... https://www.flextail.com/products/zero-battery-650cht

That's pretty cool, thanks.

I guess the capacity would be a bit lower than the equiv sized non rechargeable... but then you're not really going to find one of that sort in the ass end of nowhere.
