Great stuff,.. the car-free gorge must've been quite special! I don't think I've ridden the Gorge du Gats, will look it up.

Missed this when you first posted but a good read and looks like a great spot to take a bike! Chocolate sandwiches are a new one for me.
Something enjoyable about such a lightly packed bike too.
