Old climbing partner of mine went in the 90's for some first ascents and a ski traverse. The chap they'd booked to pick them up by boat forgot, then weather delayed so was almost 3 days late, with no contact. They'd run out of food etc by then
The tale put me off

No words but not sure who the organisers are trying to impress?!

It's that group of overachievers that climb Everest, do adventure racing and other such activities that tend to be exclusive by virtue of the cost
