I need to ride to Bristol (its complex, work based as its a recce for a charity ride and I need to clean up the route). Ramadhan (month of fasting) starts at about 11th of April and I need to get it done before then.

Please just follow the rules for another few weeks. It won't hurt, you will have all summer, and you could still raise the money and commit to do the ride after the cash has arrived.
There is a whole thread on the front page bemoaning how people are not going to respect the rules of the countryside over the summer, please, let's just hold the line for a little while longer.
