The problem with humans is, they always think they're food for wildlife. Which is wrong except for polar bears and other extremely specific situations with specific animals.

Make sure to learn how to behave correctly to protect animals from humans before you visit a wilderness.

Yes, but we live in a country where the deadliest animal is the deer*. Actual wildlife is scary - the only time I've successfully bunny hopped in my life was going over a snake in California on a sunny downhill stretch of trail at high speed.

* Normally around 20 deaths a year due to a car hitting a deer or swerving to avoid a deer and subsequently hitting something else much more solid

In my point of view this just proves how deadly the use of cars. You choose to sit into 1500 kg of metal which can go way too fast too easily.
It's the driver. Not the deer. Surely, we humans are at fault. Building cars and driving them.

Yet, I always read how scary this and that animal in the wild is, whilst oh so many sit in their car and hurry to what ever.

Reconsider.

Not too long ago, discussing the referendum against hunting (Switzerland this is) with a friend, I was asked if I drive a car. I said no and suggested that she was going to say something quite crazy; we should shoot more deer to prevent car accidents. I knew this would come so told her to just rethink how utterly perverted this view point is. How far have we humans come/gone/fallen/sunk?

Better send them some rabbits or else the next Atlas running from cats into puff adders event will become a bit boring.

thanks for the responses.

Yeah I shall be taking a front suspension MTB. I have a Bombtrack Beyond + with 29" wheels and front suspension. so should be Ideal.


And yes it has been postponed to October now. Not surprising that part. it kind of works better for me to so its all good.
