Philosophical question: is breakfast still breakfast if it involves coffee, but not food?
Let's just assume that it is, and that this counts as Breakfast with a View and a Half - admittedly no bike was involved - but if it wasn't for bikepacking I don't think I'd have thought of bringing a stove up with me and making a fresh brew, rather than carrying a thermos

Aware that is such a cliche these days, I nonetheless thought it would be a nice thing to do to walk up to Pen y Fan to watch the sunrise on Saturday morning, as I've never actually done that.
As I approached the summit from the steeper, northern ridge, I realised that, of course

it was like Piccadilly Circus up there, not exactly quiet or peaceful, as well as naturally windy. So I found a nice sheltered spot just below, where I could almost pretend that I was alone, and had my brew with a view.
Sunrise itself was admittedly a little underwhelming, compared to the stunning build up earlier, complete with cloud inversions, always a beautiful sight.
