I always found the standlight on the Revo annoying as it would stay on for hours wheras the K-lite lasts about 20 minutes from memory.

beacon also stays on for hours - it is also annoying-not least because its brigth enough to see[so not stealthy]but not bright enough to be useful

Just silicone seal one of these over the end.

The 15mm one turned up and I can confirm that it technically works. I just plugged it inline from the dynamo to the Revo and the light came on as expected. Honestly, 15mm is sort of shorter than I expected... LOL which is a stupid statement to write but here we are.

I'm not sure it's actually going to be long enough but I seem to remember that the Red eye wire was only just too short so it might be fine. Going to test properly over the weekend.
