Replacement rear mech delivered to new place in Dublin, nice test of Wiggle's overseas posting! SLX 10sp for the SRAMX9 that went into the spokes when JRA (probably when the jockeys seized?). Back to Shimano for me!

The postman just delivered another BT promotional letter, offering superfast broadband. Funny that we can only get 512kb here!
Anyway, I was busy, building up the divide bicycle. Done. Just gotta shorten the hoses later, and ride it when I'm not so busy! Also reincarnated a smashed Zee mech by putting a One-Up Radr cage on it, to run with the 11-42 cassette. Had to chuck the old XT mech as the clutch had seized, then exploded, so I couldn't shift up the block. New setup works perfectly.

Valve's?
Logo's?
Do some people never learn?
On a more positive note, looks smart that does.

Well, if he doesn't stack up the logs in either age or size order, I doubt he'll line up his logos...
Looks lovely, just checked their website. They do make some stunning frames. Hope you enjoy riding it

Ha. I love a bit of log stacking. These log bays are in an old nissen hut, we leave the wood here for about 2 yrs to season before moving to the shed by the house. It's good to be organised with wood!

Do you not cord the wood before stacking?

Nope. 2 years is season enough for most of it. Bumpkin science.

Yeah, for sure, we split the wood beforehand, if it wont fit in the wood burner. All our wood comes from our own hedges, which we've spent the last few winters laying, so we have heaps of it.

Set of pre-loved Carbon OG bars from our own Mountain baker. More stripey warning tape than a CSI crime scene!

I'm sure if you gave Zippy a few hours he could work out figure and graph the results over the lifetime of the forum
I remember back near the beginning, the bargain thread and this one used to keep pace with each other. At some point we must have collectively thought, feck it, I'll buy it anyway

Sounds about right.
Exposure Revo arrived on Thursday and is currently away being built into a wheel. A Nobby Nic was ordered at 2:30pm yesterday from Merlin and arrived this morning, so I should be battery free by Tuesday...
If we're keeping with the bargains, I got a road dynamo hub, MTB dynamo hub (QR15) and the light for only £25 more than just the light and MTB hub, by buying the MTB hub separately and a road hub with the light, price matched at Evans. Most of the cost came from Tesco vouchers as well.

Have just sent the pics to Mr Wildcat - hope his technical genius will provide a picture shortly

Genesis Alt handlebar, as supplied with the Longitude and 2015 Caribou. Have fitted them to my Fortitude to try out a more swept handlebar. I have to say my initial whizz down the road and back was very pleasing...
Is it a handlebar moustache, or a moustache handlebar?
Standard flat bars are 690mm wide and on my kitchen scales weigh 250g.
New Alt bars are 720mm wide and weigh 330g.
The Genesis part no for the Alt bars is 999793. The model is: SPR GN 15 Alt Handlebar and they cost £25, which I think is reasonable.
Cheers,
Si

Nice bars, if any one wants a pair then let me know as I have a pair sitting here off Clare's new Caribou after we changed them.
