Postie has brought a micro grip for my ti pots as suggested by Ms Wench.

You could save a 'noticable' amount of weight and reduce packsize by using different line and ditching the clippers.

Need to have a play Unlikely to use all of that but easier to have it ATM so I can practice then leave what I don't need behind. I think I went for the thinnest Alpkit supplied line, I don't have any tent guyline lying around but that would obviously be lighter.

Tree Surgeon's throw line is good, particularly if you can be bothered to splice it. Very easy and lots of useful info on the internet or hammockforums.net.

30t thick/thin ring and a KMC chain ... turns out I didn't really need the ring as the KMC chain works perfectly with my On-One T/T ring whereas Sram and Shimano refused to play nicely

Mine is tied to my helmet via a length if very thin spectra cord. I have made use of it several time!
