It's super model stick thin fitting imho. I can't see many adults full stop fitting in it!voodoo_simon wrote:Hmmm, I'll check availability tomorrow in work and I'll have a think. Medium women's must be a size 12, which should fit me (can't believe I'm typing this...) How much did it set you back?
Was hoping to just use flasks and keep my back free?! Hmmm, decisions

Re: The post man's been ...
Not sure at this stage. Depends on conditions. If baltic, I might take a small flask for hot watervoodoo_simon wrote:Are you taking any other water carrier device Ian?

Went to Alpkit towers this week to collect a bicycle 7 that Ben sewed a kador strip to to give me an overnight awning for the camper van.
Postie has brought a micro grip for my ti pots as suggested by Ms Wench.
Montane Bat Pack 6 bum bag.
And finally a Klymit x mat weighing <300 grams for summer months.

You could save a 'noticable' amount of weight and reduce packsize by using different line and ditching the clippers.whitestone wrote:Alpkit bicycle 3.5 and some string

Tree Surgeon's throw line is good, particularly if you can be bothered to splice it. Very easy and lots of useful info on the internet or hammockforums.net.
Throw line like this (other diameters and colours are available):

30t thick/thin ring and a KMC chain ... turns out I didn't really need the ring as the KMC chain works perfectly with my On-One T/T ring whereas Sram and Shimano refused to play nicely

For my Rig3.5 I use 4 short guys for the corners. 2 long ones that are the main guys for wrapping round the tops of poles, and I made 2 tie outs that are midway along the long sides. I have a bit more info in this post. http://www.composite-projects.co.uk/201 ... -3-5-tarp/whitestone wrote:Alpkit bicycle 3.5 and some string

The postie arrived today with a replacement Exposure 'Joystick' after some moron (me!) lost mine at the FF (after putting it on backwards and parading around like a proper goon!).
There's a life lesson in there somewhere.....

Mine is tied to my helmet via a length if very thin spectra cord. I have made use of it several time!gairym wrote:The postie arrived today with a replacement Exposure 'Joystick' after some moron (me!) lost mine at the FF (after putting it on backwards and parading around like a proper goon!).

I'm just going outside ...
Re: The post man's been ...
The postie has apparently been to work with a frame and my hub spares
Unfortunately, I have not gotten to work again.
Singlespeed all weekend then.
