I don't know enough about "The Great Reset" to decide whether it's a rant, or some well-informed observations  .

Interesting points though and I'm aware Sky is possibly not the most objective source of information.

He does need to buy some reading specs, though :geek: .
Yes.. Interesting to say the least..

Thanks for this. Sounds like a nice 450 mile loop (haven't seen yet but assuming it's a loop)

Yes I think it's a loop, to/from Bristol maybe? Not sure of the route but recognized a few places. Most notably Subway in Llanidloes I think

Best bit I thought was the weather, typical Welsh August, i.e. chucking it down

I recognised a few places up this way, most notably the road up to the Stwlan dam and the road from Festiniog to Bala. I'm pretty certain Bwlch y Groes was in there too.

As Sir Henry of Rawlinson said, "seems a novel enough way to commit suicide".

I think I might fit some of those drift tyres to my P7.

Isn't that the infamous Mr Cheddar spinning off there at 0:15?

Turn the sound down too - appalling racket  .

Cabrinha Kitesurfing
These two 20-minute films from cinematic genius Anders Kruger capture two very different essences of kite surfing:

"extreme nobbing about with your mates" :O) :YMPARTY: X_X \:d/

...and...

"being totally absorbed in 'the moment'" .

Mesmerising cinematography and crisp editing are complemented by two stonkingly-good, diverse, evocative sound tracks that have led me down many fascinating musical alleyways and rejuvenated my Spotify playlists.

Beautiful scenery and lots of pretty colours just add to the appeal.
Discoveries from last summer that are just too good not to share (IMHO) .

Best watched on a massive screen, with the sound up VERY LOUD :YMPARTY:

Cape Town Confidential (extreme nobbing about)

Tunnel Vision (absorbed in the moment)

More dreamy loveliness here :YMDAYDREAM: :

Little bit 'niche' this one, but covers quite a few niches - civil engineering afficionados, power supply industry loons, railway cranks, fabulous Welsh scenery weirdos, Welsh harp eccentrics, flat cap nutters, and possibly even people who live in Conwy  . I know we have some of each In Here, and I'm actually all of them - apart from the last one of course! HiVis? Hard hats? Nah - flat caps'll do us mate. A really special little film from that priceless collection of British Transport Films. I've had to watch it twice in a row.

Certainly spotted the Bala side Jeff.

I'm making no judgements here but is it bikepacking? Does staying in a B&B each night remove the essence?*

*sorry, I just couldn't help myself. It's a couple of days since we had any rabbit holes to jump down.

47 Copa on prime is well worth viewing.

One for Greg I would imagine but it’s Huw Jack Brassington running through Paddy Buckley Round

Edit - just saw piemonster recommending this too ( and also tagging in Grey  )

The full ITI looks bloody grueling and too dangerous for me. the landscape looks amazing and I'd love to visit, maybe one of the the short options?

Great film. Thought it was a great insight into that race.
As said many times I am sure, 350 looks hard enough....1000 looks truely tough.

As also said. The short one makes me want to go and ride it. Even that seems unlikely though.

Fancy some vicarious "type two fun"?
The chilli eating contest on this is pure torture:

Cheese rolling is highly amusing too

Love things like that - Great British Eccentrics At Play!

Went to the cheese rolling once - only a few broken bones and concussions that year!

It got cancelled one time about ten years ago due to Elf N Safety Gorn Maaaaad after hundreds of years of troublefree family entertainment (*) but a few locals went 'dark' with it for a couple of years to keep the tradition going. I believe there is a serious side side to it (no honestly!) to maintain grazing rights. Must be a funny shaped cow to graze on a 1-in-1 hill though - special breed with super-short front legs?

(*) oh ok then, years of mayhem, smashed bodies, and cruelly destroyed double gloucesters.

Been on my bucket list to do a bike tour of some of these type of lunatic events - such as Hallaton Bottle Kicking, Ashbourne Shrove Tuesday Football, World Pea Throwing Championship, (MTB) Bog Snorkelling of course, etc etc.
