Like the look of the Peak elite mats as a replacement for my alpkit short mat. Little concerned about some of the leaks people have been experiencing with the full length mats though. Puts me off a bit.

I'm told that the leak issue has been sorted out. They all went in the same place ... the join between the outer shell material and the valve body.

I'd like to set up an account with sportpursuit, apparently if I'm referred by someone this person gets some bonuses.
Does any one care and wants me to use their referral code? First come first served :)
PM Me.

I still keep plugging through the bargain section at WHSmith. Picked up an Explorer Active map of the Ben Nevis area for £1.50 last week. If there's any that people particularly want, let me know and i'll keep my eyes peeled......

I really liked the look of these when Stu reviewed them but full prices in the UK seemed a bit salty at the time. Random internet browsing turned them up on sale with bike-discount in Germany.

Did everybody else know there's a sale on at Alpkit. Usual combo of odd sizes but cheap Ti pegs (), they're excellent candy canes and (surprisingly to me) the PD400 and 600 sleeping bags. I resisted and got some cheap beach towels instead

Typical, just paid full price for Alpkit Ti pegs 2 weeks ago

, still, if you always waited for sales you'ed never get anything. Mucho tempted by a sleeping bag though. Must resist, must resist!

They put the PD600 in the sale but they've not had any in stock before the sale.
