Did a little ride through the woods this morning, the autumn leaves are lovely.

Just another point and press but this one came out pretty good. Much as I like the Jones, the Kramp still delivers - a day of very soggy trails but some nice hard riding.

Great pics Mr Climber! Are they Lakeland or Patterdale terriers (or something else??)
And Mr Allen and Mr fat bike.
I've had a lean couple of weeks, bikewise, but you've all inspired some getupandoutthere for tomorrow.
Much obliged.

Not my dogs but I’d be 99.9% confident saying that they are border terriers.
Here’s a Lakeland (mine) for reference

Only really sharing this opportunist phone snap as quite by chance there's a bikepacking connection that I guess some of you might spot.

Oops, apologies Oscar and Molly. We looked after a Patterdale (black one) for a while, for an elderly neighbour who went into a home. He was a character

Full marks to Rich! Coincidently I then bumped into him again the next day, halfway down Whernside having been out to shoot
3 Peaks Cyclocross.

Currently staying in a cabin on the Snaefelness peninsula in Iceland. Went to get something from the car, and spotted a bit of a green glow in the sky. Over the next hour or so, it developed into a massive aurora show, pretty much at every point of the compass at one time or another... Taken many many photos, but I quite like this one

I was out in riding in the woods at the weekend where there's the odd silver birch coppice that look stunning at this time of year.

Can't explain how happy I am with this - a huge step in progress for me. Happy I managed to time it with a transit of the Red Spot.

A curiosity at sunrise on Christmas day .
From our kitchen window, what looks like a funnel cloud. I thought it was a trick of the light at first, but the sun hasn't risen yet and the rays from below the horizon are casting a shadow of the funnel cloud on to the underside of the clouds.
