Yesterday the Postie finally brought me something: Klymit Inertia x-lite sleeping mat. 157g of combination of sleeping mat and large holes where the rest of it would be, but isn't. Quick trial on a hard floor seems to prove it's more comfortable than the floor itself. Not just for back sleepers either, found a position that works on my side. Pack size is impressive too.

Today I got an email saying my TN bivi bag will be a few more days

I agree that it seems possible to get comfy on your side too. Though its a week and a half until I'll be using it in anger

Lovers the idea but got a full length one which I just couldn't get on with. For sale if anyone's interested ;-)

I'd be interested to try one out... Not to purchase though. As I've got other things going on ATM, if you still have it at the end of the year, let me know ;-)

5. Use preview to check that when being a smart arse it actually works!
