No photo i'm afraid but the local asda's (Paignton, Devon) have cheap 2 led head torches with a proper sliding switch for £1.25.
Probably not much more weight than the Petzl e+lite zip emergency head torch
Good enough for a back up or in the car. Ideal for loading the toys back on the car roof in the dark! Or just in as an emergency light?
The're with all the seasonal camping stuff, maybe not in Mid Wales though...

Sadly about a 1.5 months too early for me to be able to afford to buy one.

Crikey, how much are having a sale. Makes their kit really quite expensive rather than eye wateringly expensive. And it is good

Good to hear on the hypersmock - took a bit of a punt on it really as its soooo light.
Breathability seemed okay by the ratings and not sure if want to use it too often with a rucksack, but then saying that I have a 70g Rab quantum go windshell that about 4 years old and still going strong as my most used bit of kit!!

Ooohhh noooo-o-o-o. I do wish you hadn't pointed out that smock and promo code. Also gone and bought one now and it's not even raining here. £63.28. Just hope I've got the size right, my M Rab Demand sometimes requires a few contortions to the amusement of all assembled persons. 75g is pretty bonkers.

"just bought one too" - heh heh, wonder how many they've got? How many Boners are there these days? 1100-odd? The packer will be going mad returning to the same shelf every 5 mins at the moment

The smocks are cut pretty slim, as they're as light as possible
I'm a medium and it's a medium sized smock, it's ok with two layers underneath if they're quite slim fitting too
I only carry it for emergencies so doesn't get used with a pack. But it's great knowing I have a waterproof when heading out

I've been using one of these^^^^^^^^ for the last 6 years and it's been faultless.
1:50k mapping included seems a good deal to me.
