There is normally an arrow on the main body with a L and R plus an arrow to indicate.

Main body goes in cog side first then screw plastic bit in. Check which way the threads go in carefully as the plastic one threads in the opposite direction to the main body. Be careful not to strip the thread on the main body. Grease it first then turn it slowly in the opposite direction to which it screws in until you hear a little click, this means it should be aligned correctly. Now turn slowly in the correct direction. If in the first few turns you feel resistance then unscrew it to check for cross threading and try again.

Ok so i got most of the bits on with no trouble at all.
Went Halfords for the inner tubes and cables plus i remembered to get a V brake for the rear too.

Came home........Then went back to Halfords to swap an inner tube as one wheel is schrader and the other is a presta!!!!!
I have spent the last 2 hours running and cutting the cables for both brakes and the front gears.

And now the thing i was worried about.......the Derailleur..........IT WONT GO ON......

Questions

1) - On the derailleur how do i get the little nub to pull round on the spring to fit on the frame???
Its too tight to do it by hand and YouTube is useless in this case.

2) - The front wheel is lose on the hub, it wobbles from side to side.
If i do the little nut up on it it pushes the wheel off center and only one side of the nut moves. Other side is either really stuck or permanently attached.
So i cant centralize it.!!!

Anyway here is a before and after photo.
