My hope is the 200. If training does not go as plan - such as last weekends incident - or poor conditions on the weekend I may switch to 100. Already done 100 miles this winter, but it was a flattish route.

I'm in for the 200, with sub-24hrs aspirations.

Re: If there were a UK 'gravel race' ...
Here's the first glimpse of the route:

Start at the small red square (Llanwrtyd Wells). Both routes follow the yellow line clockwise. At the point where it meets the red line, the Two Ton 'O Gravel breaks off, also ridden clockwise. Return to same point and finish off the rest of the Wildcat 100 (yellow). Each loop is 100 miles.

Bloody hell, that's nearly every forest road I've ever ridden in Mid Wales. Could be a bit rough for the CX bike with carbon wheels I've just built, the trail NE of Nant Y Moch is pretty rocky

Don't expect any "frills" at that price though...Dan_K wrote:Bit steep if you ask me...s8tannorm wrote:£0.00What's the entry fee likely to be?
This is a self-supported race - you are responsible for you, etc.
The satisfaction of completion will be your reward :D
