Well, our cheap Karrimor jackets arrived today (Monday afternoon...not bad considering I ordered them on Sunday morning!). The down isn't going to win any quality awards, but considering the price, they're a bargain. Not light (760g medium), but definitely a keeper for general mucking about on the farm where I'd be worried to damage my Western Mountaineering or PHD stuff.

It's not exactly going to be stunning quality, but I've been looking for some cheap camping stuff for the family, and less than £60 for a family tent, two double airbeds, one double & two single sleeping bags and a lantern, ain't too bad At least it means my nice quality kit won't get trashed on the family trips.
