Looks like they've priced it by the gram! Light, cheap, works well...pick one.

Was hoping the Tailfin option was going to be the spec combo I'm after but it looks like a drop bar bag that I need to remove to get gear in and out of. Likely the needs of aerobar users that led to side opening rather than top opening design but for rapid use I suspect the slower access might lose time Vs the aero bar gains. And I don't use aerobars anyway. For regular non-race use it's just a slower way to get at your gear. It looks well thought out overall but the access point is a fundamental deal-breaker for me. It's a fairly heavy system as well. The search continues / "just buy the Jammer bag"..

(Price isn't crazy compared to some US-made options and considering the R+D, tooling etc to make something like this, imo)

The price is hard to justify, but at the same time, I've easily spent more than that on bar bags over the years looking for one that worked and fit without the use of bungees, handlebar extenders, and various other hacks. I have many of thenother tailfin bags and they just work. If I don't need to wrap bungee around my bag to keep it off my wheel, it's a win.

I mean, Rixen & Kaul KlickFix adapters exist for you to do this sort of thing to your existing bags...

Blackburn used Rixen and Kaul for their outpost bar roll, and I had one briefly. It didn't work very well. The coupling has a slight wobble to it, and it doesn't have much in the way of adjustment angle, and it stuck out a long way forward for my taste. The tailfin is big money, but it does look very well designed indeed, very stable, and with a lot of adjustment. Would be worth it if you're doing lots of trips and want things just right. I can see that there's room for a future top opening bag of some kind too...

I'll be keeping the salsa exp cradle i have, as that does a decent job and has some adjustment

If anyone was waiting for the tailfin bag and it turned out to be not what you wanted, im selling my salsa exp cradle

Printed brackets for the Ortlieb gravel handlebar bag and the accessorie bag, no issues, with bungies or straps it's always a hassle. Can't see the appeal with overpriced made in the USA gear.,,

Update PLA is ok but not as good as PETG, when I need more filament will use PETG to print some more as it's much stronger. Mind you the PLA has not had any issues over the last year or so. Main downside is it's not very good if exposed to lots of sunlight or heat.

I like the look of the range of new Pashley bikes, Pathfinder and Prospero my pick, as decent utility bikes that are UK built and also look nice, for a reasonable price...
