Another Water-to-go filter without the bottle from OS again! I think I might open a water filter shop. They're looking into it.
Very nice book from the very nice Dave Barter. You must order one immediately.

I'm a Cyclist, Let Me Out of Here! in my letterbox too. Thanks Sweary Dave! Or should I say, Sweaty Dave? Sack your proofreaders
Top of the (somewhat niche) pops when I went looking for a link to share last week:

You have a special edition there as that was corrected in the main run

I'll put it to the east of my copy of Great British Bike Rides. Or is that the west?

One of those tyre plier tool things to help you mount a tyre on a rim. Tired (no pun intended) of aching thumbs, was really cheap off aliexpress

Today he brought my new membership of the Gatewood Cape Club. I was so impressed by RIPs that I just had to get one for myself. Now I think I may have to test it out in a garden bivvy.

(despite the fact that mine collapsed on me in the typhoon last week. But that was totally pilot error brought on by over-refreshment in the Telford, honestly!)

Well done Dan

I'm maintaining my 'less Chinese goods' policy and it's really satisfying. Some stuff gets through but still...

My new Outdry EX Reign jacket that I got from Columbia while reduced to £93 the other day arrived this morning. It looks good, a bit less rubbery looking than my other Outdry jacket and the extra ventilation provided by the pit zips (which my other jacket doesn't have) will be welcome. I'm not sure whether I'll be using it for biking or as my new hill walking waterproof, maybe a bit of both.

Alpkit Juice Bank 10,000mAh power bank charger, in their recent sale. Looks OK but never used a power bank before. Sucked in by the IP65 water resistance rating, but hadn't counted on the open ports which are presumably vulnerable to water ingress?

Just about any usb powerbank needs to be kept dry for the reason of which you speak. It's a bit like waterproof socks are waterproof except for the hole in the top
