Sweet looking Ritchey. Kind of what i'd like to replace my gravel bike with, something more road biased but with decent enough clearance for 40c. Not my fav colour on this one, and for the price one could probably get a custom steel frame and possibly fork...

The CdFs seems to have a fairly timeless quality to them, and those are very incremental changes!

I was at Genesis 2007-2011, CdF was one of my projects then. Dom was there after for a couple of years I think.

Yes, true - a vindication of ideas about bike layouts I think. Steel F+F, discs, road/CX/gravel geometry, not too slack or trying to be an MTB, makes a nice lighter-load tourer etc. Just a valid format. There were a few bikes along similar lines when the CdF first came out so it wasn't a new idea but perhaps the influences of winter road miles mixed with a wet lumpy byway shortcut here and there wasn't that mainstream - living out a Paris-Roubaix fantasy in the Chilterns is actually a long way from the US gravel scene that really took the bike with it

Moonlander or the Beargrease?

I like the look of the Beargrease but if I wanted a backcountry fat bike I'd go for the Moonlander. Maybe not the 6.2 tyres though. Then again the floatation would be something else

Moony for sure, the ICT fulfills my normal fatbiking needs

Ison have Moonlanders on order. Not many and not cheap, but there will be a few in the UK.

Depends which bikeshop you go to. Cycle2Work seem to be getting some bad press about fees at the mo. I'd rather do a cash deal!

On reflection I can't justify the best part of £5k on a bike that will have limited use - the ICT does 80% of what it could do, in terms of whats available round here. But need and want never match up.....
