I've got the joy of night shifts this weekend starting Friday. :( I think the earliest I'm going to get an overnighter in is thu 14th, (need to negotiate with her indoors) going to keep it simple and head to the dead sheep bivi (or if it's good weather head up to the shooting cabins) and ride cut gate early in the morning. Home in time for breakfast.

Fabulous 20l Airlok Xtra Dual roll top barbag in chilli from those wonderful people at Alpkit. Just looking around the house and realizing that so much of our gear is made by them and it still works after years of abuse! Still time to vote for them in TGO awards (twice!) and I think John Muir trust wild land thing is probably worth supporting in the environmental section.

Been a bit naughty - Uberbike ceramic bottom bracket, bits and bobs for building up the Uncle John CX/commuter, and have just ordered a PX Dirty Harry (well, there was 15% off) frame. Just got to break the news at home about the Dirty Harry.

Solar storm light all the way from Hong Kong for £21.30 Inc delivery which took three weeks. Light comes with two sizes of rubber mounting rings, battery in frame mounting pack, charger and UK plug adaptor. Initial impressions are good and hopefully going to give it an outing soon.

Just had 2 of these turn up in the post. Planning a simple handlebar mount type thing with these facing forward. Should hold a couple of dry bags nice and secure...
Hello by the way! My first post :)

Not sure if this link works:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331031280934? ... 1439.l2649
They are to mount a bottle holder on the bars so search 'water' 'bottle' handlebar' 'clamp' 'mount' :)
I've got some 'U' section ally that fits snugly. I'm hoping to cut some short sections and give them a slight bend... I'll post pics once the carnage is over :)
